waynet: this one instance is where you and I agree. I've made peace with thef fact that executives in corporations are given attractive incentives because of their "supposed unique and gifted skill sets". However, I have never gotten use to the fact that far too mny executives their their titles as "entitlements to attractive incentives" irrespective of their performance. We have all come across presidents and vice presidents whose leadership, etc is wanting andin spite of their lack of leadership and "but for" the fact that their subordinates carried them they would have failed miserably. We all know why they are rewarded we just can't ever get use to that fact.
