I try to "avoid" my birthday, unless it's a milestone one! Then I may try to make a big deal out of it. When no one pays any attention, then I know that I'm probably "too old!"
Unfortunately, many of my friends are too likely to remind me that "It's your birthday!"
It is always nice, though, that one of my older brothers remembers to tell me "Happy Birthday, kid!"
