Worth the Drive
If its Oil and filter or Tire Rotation find a AC Delco or NAPA Auto Care. Google them on line. Warranted service nation wide
If its Tires find a national chain and make sure the Balancer and Alignment service is a Hunter
NEVER a quick lube unless you need a new vehicle.
Walk in the business look for the technicians ASE certifications and factory certifications. Is the shop area clean organized and professional looking or does it look like back yard Bob?
Our cars today are bumper to bumper rolling computers with some sheet metal wrapped around them. Even a Tire Rotation is high tech.
Anything else the 40 mile drive will be worth it. Call Lexus and they will most likely loan or rent you a vehicle.
I just updated the school Alignment machine for your vehicle. Had nothing to do the vehicles alignment physical adjustments. It had to do with the Stability control angle sensor relearn procedure.
I had a Lexus with a pull condition that was at four shops to get fixed. It had four new tires and had several tire rotations and alignment checks.
We fixed it with a 10 minute stability control relearn.
People in TV need to be careful of vehicle service. Many new cars now have repair equipment that only the dealer has software and procedures not available to the independant repair garages. Just the way it is the lawsuits for right to repair information go on as I type.
And I am not bashing the local garages. How ever I do know what they face.
