Just living in the streets? Try talking to some. Not what the ridiculous news organizations tell you. Go out there and see for yourself. This isn't a rant on Fox News. They're ALL guilty of it - CNN, MSNBC, the lot of them. The local coverage of Occupy Boston seems a little more even handed - but that's because they actually TALK to the protestors instead of talking over video footage.
And about your 'middle America' comment..
These are the people who were SUPPOSED to BECOME MIddle America. I spoke to college students, war veterans, laid off workers, mothers, fathers, teachers - even the cops 'guarding' the rally were sympathetic - maybe being LITERALLY in the shadow of the Federal Reserve Building on Atlantic Avenue had something to do with it - I don't know.. You name it, they were there. Were there loonies there? Yeah - three of them in particular that I remember - one was an "Anarchist Communist" - I swear I'm not making that up - I *couldn't* make that up!
