Having problem with our home phone. CenturyLink/Embarq provider. No dial tone, allot of noise sounding like a fax being sent out. Calling into the home, can hear person talking very clearly, person at the home hears nothing. Brought in known working phone, hooked up, same noise. Removed line filter, no change. Unplugged modem, router, no change. Trying to avoid having a service call. Just to say hello, what's the problem, that will be $85. Checking with TOTV anyone with similar problem and resolve? Thank You
