When there is a first time post and one that is very negative against a contractor here there is need for not rushing to judgement.

Especially when there are equally as many who feel that the contractor is doing a good job.

I would first call BBB and Crimes Against Seniors to see if they too have received complaints.

Threatening to put a lien against ones home is VERY extreme.

Please forgive me first time poster, but I was speaking in general terms.

I have no knowledge of these folks at all and we too are looking for a new person to maintain our new lawn. The one we had for our house in Hadley and we were pleased with has disappeared from the landscape and is not returning calls. I still can't get over a lawn person threatening to put a lien against a person's property.

If you are a first time poster and you have to make a very negative post against a contractor it is wise to say a little more to let us know exactly how this came about. How much was the contract, where did they fail, did the neighbors have the same experiences, what part of town, who did you speak with there etc.etc.etc.

I feel bad for any of us villagers who are being taken advantage of but I feel bad for a good contractor who may be getting his name unfairly smeared by a competitor. And I think this happens on here a LOT.
