Remember, most of the American voters are NOT the typical uber-conservatives that are the posters on this forum. Most American voters want someone who is a little left of center or a little right of center - they do not want an extremist anywhere on the ticket.

Sarah Palin is what sank the Republican boat in 2008. Extreme and dumb is not a good combination. At least, she has found her niche as a speaker to other extremists since resigning her elected office that she swore on a Bible to perform to the best of her ability. Well, maybe resigning was the best performance for her.
