Thanks to all who responded to my question. I ended up calling Direct TV and going over their pricing. The key question was to forget all the "new customer discounts and perks"..What will I have to pay after the all of these are through and I am on a regular rate schedule.
It was interesting as it ended up that if I duplicated all of the things I now have with Comcast, (e.g. 3 DVR's, etc.) I would end up paying just about what I currently pay Comcast and maybe just a little bit more. Agreed, I would most likely get some added channels but for a few football games for a short time I would be at breakeven.
Again..thanks to all who took the time to write..That is what makes the TOTV and the Villages such a great place to live.
