I went to cody's (once) when it first opened up. Based on what the OP stated cody's was busy that evening and if that assumption is correct then I believe it all the more requires patience. Personally given that environment and in today's charged up world I would not have jokingly suggested a duel.
As to the Facebook "I Hate The Villages"here is something true about these postings. I hear villagers complaining about other villagers so it is not surprising that people who live adjacent to the villages would/could draw similar conclusions. Most people are friendly here but it only takes an arrogant few to spoil it for the rest of us. i have come across locals whom resent that we are here. I had one contractor tell me exactlyl that to my face but then recanted explaining we were paying his bills. On the other hand a group of us stopped by a small Belleview bar and found the locals to be a hoot. I noticed one truck out in he parking lot with a logo on the side that confirmed he was one of the contractors doing work in the villages.
GG is right some young people forget that each day they too are getting older.
