I also think they all buy prepackaged sliced turkey.
I wonder...........and I don't know because I haven't ever eaten outside my own cooking or family cooking on Thanksgiving,

There are two kinds of dressing/stuffing prepared out there. The very moist kind and the dry kind. Our family does the very moist kind with lots of celery and onion and pieces of chicken and broth...yes chicken even if we are having turkey.
I think this, because in the Publix commercial the stuffing the grandma took to the family get together looked dry. You could see the big pieces of bread in it.
And we call stuffing, dressing in Ohio.
And I think that prepackaged sliced turkey only has white meat and I like dark. We carried in the turkey and dressing from Bob Evans this Thanksgiving and NEVER again. It didn't taste like the turkey and dressing usually served in the restaurant. I will cook the whole shebang even if it is just the three of us.
