I doubt they make those kinds of disparaging remarks about Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter, Mary, or Newt Gingrich's lesbian sister.
I thought TV welcomed all regardless of race, ethnicity, political preference, or sexual persuasion, or it that one of those pesky federal laws they would like to abolish?

PuhLEEZE....Lighten up!! Calling Barney Frank a "queer-ball" who has "bilked the MA and American citizens for 32 years" is hardly the "hate speech" or "hate crime" you would like to turn this into.
Many of us grew up in a time where the classic definition of "queer" meant "odd".....nothing more, nothing less. I can remember hearing in the late 50's and 60's, "the queerest thing happened today...." and I can remember the word "queer" being in my primary school reading books, meaning "odd".
Kathy and Al called Frank the equivalent of "
oddball", and that, he IS! From what I've seen on Barney Frank on t.v., I don't even think HE would get all bent out of shape if you called him a "queer-ball". If there is one thing he is, it is "open" about his oddballness.
And by the way, "Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter, Mary, or Newt Gingrich's lesbian sister" have not been in elected office for 32 years, at least CLOSE to the bilking of the MA and American taxpayer and rightful accountability to us.
