I would like to see some evidence that they are against this. Small business and low tax rates are what makes a strong middle class. Obama has done nothing to help in this area except keep the Bush tax cuts.
He has attacked small business every opportunity he gets.
Dems made it possible for low income and lower middle class people to afford a home that they could not afford and now have to give back because it was not about the middle class after all it was about linning their pockets, both sides I have to say.
What have the dems done to help the "middle class"?
First you have to agree on what the problem "is" then work on the enviroment.
Dems want to fix it and then see what the problem is. As it turns out Obama is helping the "fragile enviroment" by giving out money to his supporters to make products that nobody, including the middle class, want or can afford.
Dems want the oil and gas business shut down, raising fuel cost once again hurting the "middle class"!!
Reps want to drill in an enviromentally safe way to lower energy cost and our dependence on foriegn oil.
An exaggeration at best. Reps want business to thrive and create jobs and, oh my god, make money.
Dems think business is there to send money to the government and make sure everybody has retirement and health care for the rest of their life, because it is a right you know!
It was the regulation of the mortgage business that got us into the mess we are in. Not all regulation is good regulation.
Do you think just because they pass regulations a problem is solved?
Reps are for freedom of choice on where and how you get your education.
Dems will go to the grave thinking that the old system with more money thrown at it will just keep on working and that it is better run by Washington DC. Look at their schools in DC, Not a good example of what government can do.
How about definition of torture first. I don't think we are cutting off any heads or hands, now that is torture. I don't believe that water boarding is torture. Now I don't want it to be used on me so I don't vow to kill every american so I don't get that treatment.
Do you think it would be better if we just ask them nicely? I know in the left leaning world everything is roses and everybody just wants to get along but that is not the case. Reps are not FOR torture, they against the murder of our citizens!
Like what? I know I am compassionate and I am not sure what area you are talking about but I believe that we as americans give more to our poor here and in the whole world than all other conties combined.
Now if you are talking WSO, I don't think that is about compassion. It is more about seeing a bunch of young educated drop outs sitting around talking on their cell phones, wearing their corporate logo shirts, ipads, latte espressos and then gripping about greedy corporate america.
I wish I had three months to camp out and not work.
Oh, they have no jobs, ask Obama where they are, he said it will not sleep until he gets the job done "job number one". He must be very tired by now with loosing all that sleep all over the world.
I am starting to be with you on this one. I think that that has hurt the reps more than anything. Even the uber rich don't care if they pay more so tax them and get on with it. The thing is it is a drop in the bucket and will do nothing until Washington stops spending! Do you think it should be on the middle class too or just the people you wish you could be?
This makes me laugh! Have you ever heard of fast and furious? Boy the dems are on top of this one.
Guns are not the problem, criminals are. We have 100s of gun laws on the books. I bet one more will do the trick.
You have got to be kidding!!! Anybody that points at either side for this is not being honest with themselves. Pelosi and Reed are a model of compromise aren't they. If they don't like it, they don't bring it to a vote.
Nice compromise.
I guess your idea of compromise is reps need to give in because the dems are obviously right on everything.
Both sides are as partison as they have ever been in my life time thanks to Bush, Clinton, Bush and oh yeah now your saviour, Obama.
Boy I am glad they are. I wish they would have before health care went through with all of that non-partisonship and compromise you were talking about.
Which leads me to one I forgot, Womens rights.
Wow! women in the USA have more rights, all of them I believe, then anywhere else in the world. But I bet you are just talking about abortion.
Last time I looked it was legal and I don't think that is going to change anytime soon. I think you use it as a hollow complaint because it sounds good to the left.
That being said I think it has no place in politics at all. It should be a womens choice, not yours, not mine, not government, not Obama care, just theirs.
It is just the same old BLAH BLAH BLAH every election and nothing changes.
By the way back to womens right, compromise and dems, how about that concern the dems had for women in the health care bill where they compromised by taking it out of the bill. There is your dems concern for womens rights.
I know that you are so deep in your beliefs that none of this will matter to you but a simple list of things without a fact attatched is what I am use to seeing.
The reps are no saints, we are not electing a Pope. But to think that your dems have got it all right is a laugh. We are probably in trouble with your guy or the next.
