yes it came from congress as they always do.
I did not say any money flowed anywhere. I did refer to lobbyists who by the way are trying to revive a $165,000,000 business here in the USA. And yes the states the sponsoring lawmakers are from are the ones who stand to gain the business back.

And yes I am guilty of bias, being a family that has been in the business of horses for many years and whose children all raise horses.

The reality side that will not get printed are the facts that when horse slaughtering is restored, people can get up to $500 for a horse sent to slaughter. That will bring out the folks who will exploit being able to make money this way. It also breeds criminal elements that will in fact steal horses to send to slaughter.

I take back one item from my post and that is, the issue is starting to get some play in the news....not the television news networks.
