I hate doing this to a restaurant that has earned a very good reputation over the years, BUT: I think it is important to know that when our party of some 15 or 16 visited last Friday night (12/02/11), we sat for an hour and forty minutes (1:40) between ordering and delivery of food!
Yes, it was an exceptionally busy night (Mount Dora's annual Christmas Walk), but there is absolutely no, repeat absolutely no, excuse for such a delay.
After much polite fussing, the on-duty manager himself carried most of the trays of food out. He apologized profusely, and comped everyone's dessert, but it did not take away the negative vibes!!!!!!!!!!
On top of it all, many complained that their food was either cold, overdone or generally unacceptable.
Spoiled our evening, you may be sure!
