I received a call today from our salesman at Carts and Clubs to let us know that our cart will be ready ahead of schedule... about two weeks to go. While talking with him I asked about the key/glove box issue being discussed.

He told me that Yahama uses 10 different dash boards and the one they use at C&C can have one of two possible keys. That alone makes it a 50/50 chance that another CG owner would have a matching key. If you add the other 9 dashboards to the mix that would come out to a one in 11 chance or even greater if any of the other 9 also use two different keys.

What's even more interesting is that he told me that if the wrong key is inserted into the key slot, the key will be locked in and lock itself would probably have to be replaced. BTW, here is a naked picture of our new GC... in progress. They're just waiting for the seat to complete the job.
