CarGuys, I am new to Tamarind Grove and will close in a few weeks and want flood and sink hole coverage also. We were told by TV insurance people that flood would add over $300 a year to our coverage but I agree with you that I want to try it for at least a year to see how the area is with rain and storms before I decide if it's necessary or not. Better safe than sorry. When we were looking at purchasing and asking about insurance costs it was estimated for us at around $600 or $700 a year I thought but your cost of $1300 may actually be closer to what we wind up paying. I wish I knew what company was a good one to go with. We are renting part time for the next few years until we can move down full time and I think that might add to our costs also. Any suggestions on good companies would be welcome.
