Default Costs

The sinkhole insurance was within the AAA policy quote. Our home with sinkhole coverage was going to be around $998.00

I believe this may be for the birdcage addition for wind? It seemed high as I was expecting $800

And correct Flood insurance is a additional $320 for $220k of full insurance.

Will we keep that? Time will tell. We are being cautious the first year or two recommended by both agents.

Today we recieved a detailed Fax with a quote from The Villages insurance. SURPRISED as they offered us both sinkhole coverages minor and major and no inspection was needed as it was new construction.

Other company wanted the pre inspection.

Gracie- I have to agree with you. Up North on my grandfathers Farm House cracks and settlement was pretty much the norm,

And wind insurance was a log chain laid across you winter blankets to keep them from blowing off the bed on a howling cold winter night!

"Insulation was another log on the fire.

Thanks all for your advise!
