Wallpaper removal
So we stripped and re-painted our halfbath ( even took off the tank to get entirely behind it) . Came out nice and fresh.
Now we're doing the kitchen. When we purchased the house we hated the wall paper. So my wife picked out new paper and arranged to have it installed.
When taking of the first few panels (now we just purchased a Wagner steamer fyi, very good!) Discovered that the wall had smooth white primer on it. Well, further discovered that our installer primed over the original wallpaper. Probably oil based and we never knew it. It would be impossible to remove the orginal wall paper now as it would ruin the walls.
I'll touch up where some of the primer was removed and paint over.
I'll also remove the paper in the master bath. (no stopping us now)
Anyway once complete on the market the house goes.
