I do not know why they are keeping it a secret.
I am in my 14th year living here and at no time have we been shown the master plan for any of the areas the Morse family has developed. He gives us information a little at a time. For instance I have a copy of The Daily Sun dated January 23, 2007, where it reported on the "Third Downtown, Brownwood". There is a sketch of the plans and the article states that this Town Square will have essentially similar amenities as the other two. Access to Brownwood, by those of us who live in The Villages, will be primarily by Buena Vista Blvd. As to what grocery stores and other shopping there will be, I'm sure that will follow, just as these kinds of businesses have sprung up along 441, 466, 466A and surely to come along 44. No doubt the developer knows who some of these businesses are. No doubt he already has leases ready to be signed by those who want "in" on the action. Information on who these businesses are will be gradually released to us as the development of this new area continues. Based on what I have seen in the past 13 years there is no doubt that there will be all kinds of shopping and lots of eateries. Spanish Springs wasn't even completed when I moved here so you can imagine how exciting it has been to watch the growth there, then Lake Sumter Landing, and now Brownwood. I wouldn't have missed this for anything! Keep reading The Daily Sun. Whatever you need to know WILL be printed as development continues!
