When I locate the screen I want in Systems-auto updates tab....the auto update is already checked. I tried disabling and applying and then re-enable the auto update with no success.

Will I be able to update manually from time to time?

Had the same problem twice, once while the computer was still under warranty, so Dell fixed it, and again last year. Both times it was a virus and was not simple to fix.
