As far as this golf cart fire, I wasn't aware that we had TOTV back then. Otherwise, I would have brought it up sooner. Other than being somewhat curious, my main interest is public safety. We have a public safety department(PSD) here in The Villages, don't we? If a police report was filled out when the fire occured, the PSD should have known about it. Wouldn't the fire department or police department have reported it to the PSD? Or wouldn't the PSD have checked to see what reports had been filed during the previous day?
If something is a danger, like golf carts bursting into flames while being driven in TV, shouldn't it be something the PSD brings to the attention of Villagers? And, is it ever too late to warn Villagers of this danger? Suppose, without warning, it happens again to older (disabled?) people with grandchildren (on board) who are not so quick (or unable) to jump to safety? What will you say then? Will you say you're glad that no one bothered you by bringing it up as a warning?Note: This post is for everyone who was bothered by the fact that I reported this event, like boggie shooter and others.

Now they been warned, what behavior do you recommend they change?
