These type reports are just another reminder that no matter where you live, always lock your doors regardless of how long you plan to be gone. Also, double check (periodically) to insure your windows are locked. We occasionally open windows for fresh air and (at my age) forget to lock them back!
We always think this only happens to the other guy. REMEMBER, to me, YOU are the other guy!
