We love the dog park over by Mulberry Grove. Big and small dog areas, lots of grass, water fountains for the pooches, and around eight benches for the dog owners. The biggest drawback is that there is not much shade in the heat of summer, but it doesn't matter much this time of year.
When we go around lunch time it is usually pretty empty, but around 4-5 PM there can be upwards of 20 small dogs for our little guy to play with.
Most of the dog owners are pretty good about picking up after their dogs, but occasionally they get so caught up in their conversations with other owners that they might "miss" picking up the miss. Never fear: The Puppy Poop Police Patrol (PPPP)
is usually pretty quick to inform owners when they miss picking up.
