Well, according to the person at the Sumter County Sheriff's Office, they are doing more in The Villages portion of the County than other areas. If the have 5 patrol assets out, then 4 are in The Villages area. It was a nice conversation. The largest amount complaints these days are traffic accidents and dog poop calls. Boosted my opinion of the "proactive" Sheriff.
