Ms. Coulter has tossed a huge chunk of her credibility in the political crapper with her recent columns. She's now trying to predict the political ebbs and flows and adjusting her political thinking to reflect these winds of change instead of sticking to her supposed core beliefs as she's articulated them in the not so distant past.
Of course she's now endeared herself to liberals by casting aspersions on Republicans. It brings to mind how Sarah Palin was the darling of the liberal media when she was kicking Republicans in Alaska, before her Vice Presidential nomination caused them to turn a 180 and condemn her.
It's foolish to think she would be anything close to supporting Obama, but undoubtedly she's now been convinced that a conservative cannot win the general election. She's now ignoring historical precedent and acting as foolish as a pundit can be.
