We rented a 30 foot storage space in Cincinnati for the rest. (Not as expensive and we and family packed it) We drove our car down with a trailer full of things that we had packed carefully ourselves and put those things in the rental home garage. Henry returned to Cincinnati after the move to get the rest of the stuff and disperse what we didn't want...now that we had a better idea. He drove a 26 foot box truck down just before Thanksgiving.

One picture had the glass broken, but everything else did pretty well during this process. It cost us MUCH less. Someone once said it costs about a dollar a pound to move cross country if you hire professional movers. Loading up North is expensive but unloading down here is very reasonable. I was so afraid that somehow we would pick up someone elses bedbugs during the process, but thank goodness, that didn't happen.

Gracie, the frugal

ummmm Gracie, BEDBUG? Hadn't even crossed my mind. Thanks!!!!
