Visit the town squares at night, especially during vendor nights, to hear the music and see the sights.

Talk to residents when you meet them anywhere. We love to talk about this place, both good and bad (but mostly good!!). Despite a few curmudgeons, we are a friendly community.

with mikeod. Also, if you like to visit open houses, there are open houses (both new and resale homes) held every day in The Villages, not just on Saturday and Sunday as you may be used to at home. The open houses are listed every day in The Daily Sun. Don't be shy about talkling to residents - I have learned a lot about TV from talking to residents, and keep reading TOTV -- it is a gold mine of info about buying, moving and living in TV.
