I must agree with "why would you want to get a tat? Why mess up what God gave you? But, you are an adult and have the freedom to do what you want with it. I've learned not to judge a book by it's cover. My personal experience......in my townhome community where I live, there is a gentleman who lives down the street. He is fairly unkept, not shaven, hair needs a cut, has a limp. Almost looks like he could be homeless. I would kind of go out of my way to avoid him when out walking. I noticed that he walks excessively around out in my community because I often pass him, usually avoiding eye contact. Well, after passing him all summer I decided to say hi and exchange pleasantries. Weeks passed and we talked a bit more and a bit more. Here's what I found out....he walks excessively because he has a medical condition that requires him to walk frequently or his chance of death is greater. Also, it's very cold here and he keeps on walking outside, no boots, just sneakers, sometimes a hat, sometimes not. I asked him if he minded the cold and he said he used to race sled dogs and loved the cold. Oh, he also has a 10 year old son. This gentleman must be at least 70. Kinda broke my heart. Inspire of his situation, He seemed fairly happy. Now when I pass him I always speak and I'm looking around my house to see what I can give he and his family as far as clothes go. It's clear they don't have much. Moral of the story.....don't judge a book by it's cover. I'm so glad I got to know this man even if it's just on the surface. He inspires me. So, if someone wants to get a tattoo , I'm not going to judge them.
