My wife has one tattoo of a clutch of violets, she created herself, which she got in honor of her mother who died of leukemia at much too young an age. Violets being the unofficial "official symbol" of the disease due to it's supposed cancer fighting properties. Violet was also the name of my beloved mother-in-law.
I'm not a huge fan of women with tattoo's and I won't ever get one for myself, but I think my wife's is beautiful.
