WI-FI network name (SSID) and network key (password).
I recall when I moved into The villages a geek guy entered q unique number to my router expalining it protected people from hooking into my router. I assume that this is the SSID?
Also once I install the router I assume I need to "pair" for lack of a better word my desktop, laptop and IPAD to this router? If so I do I pair these three units?
Thank you for your anticipated help

Yes there is a preset SSID and password. You should go into the router and change the SSID to a personal one and change the password to one of your own.
If you have not already synced/paired the rest of your devices to the preset codes you will have to sync/pair them to the new codes.
Also make sure that you do not broadcast your SSID. More protection because no one knows you are out there.
