Back in 2006, Rush commented on a news story with the following headline: "Waistlines continue to grow in U.S." (I thought it was an interesting article so I saved it.)

The reason I bring this up is because he said something that surprised me. He said something to this effect: "What's the big deal anyway? Gaining weight is only natural." Well, I'm sure you will agree that gaining weight is natural, especially if looked at from an historical perspective.

Now, RichieLion, I have a question for you: Why doesn't Rush say the same thing about teenage girls who get pregnant and have babies out of wedlock? Isn't getting pregnant and having babies "natural?" This is what females have been doing since the beginning of time.

Why is one natural thing okay but the other not, when both have detrimental social and economic consequences?
