Start checking the Lost and Found in the classified ads in the Daily Sun. Many people put an ad there when they have lost jewelry.
From the recreation News: Depending on where items are found, inexpensive items will be held for 15 days at La Hacienda or Laurel Manor RegionalRecreation Centers. Valuables immediately will be turned over to the Lady Lake Police Department, Sumter County Sheriff’s Office or Marion County Sheriff’s Office. After two weeks, unclaimed items will be donated to local charities.
