Actually, according to the driver of the low speed vehicle, the hair in the potato salad was the cause of the accident. He was finally apprehended about 2 miles from the scene of the accident. The excuse he gave for speeding: "Officer, I found a hair in my potato salad and was on my way to return it to the supermarket deli; I was trying to get there before closing time."
