This discussion scares me. Ticks cause lime disease aside from their annoyance. What is the preventitive way to get rid of them? Spray the yard and the house before you move in? And are you saying it is those pine needle looking things around the edging of the lawn in between the bushes that I see we have at our new Mission Hills Hacienda villa that breeds them? I never heard of ticks being a problem in Florida and we have two dogs who are moving with us of the larger breeds. I want to get on this well in advance, for us and the dogs. Ugh. We have a half acre in Seattle and no ticks.
