This country stopped being a free country with limited government control with the passage of the 17th Amendment. If you don't know what it is, look it up, explains lots of why the government is only for the government and no longer a government of "We The People."

Might be time to make a change and do away with the 17th Amendment like we did with the 18th Amendment that was changed by the 21st Amendment. Bring back control of the Federal Government to the States.
