I would be happy to meet with you to discuss your legal options. There are several legal theories, including but not limited to, breach of contract and specific performance, under which you could seek damages or compel the contractor to complete the work. Like all legal issues, the details are important. Therefore, I would need to review any contracts and other paperwork you signed related to the job. Prior to filing a suit, I usually recommend that client's send a demand letter to the defendant as a good faith attempt to keep attorney's fees at a minimum.
