On collatoral damage? Are you kidding me. Look what happened to Germany. The United States leveled most of the country and the Russians took care of the other half. I'm a supporter of leveling a country if that counties government threatens our way of life, after a Declaration of War by the Congress as required by the Constitution. To bad about the people, I see that the muslims did not worry about killing civilians on 9/11. War is nasty business and should not be taken lightly and should only be declared according to the provisions stated in the United States Constitution with the draft reinstated so that all get to service their country in time of need.

Agree totally. Going to war should be a national commitment, agreed upon by our elected representatives. It should NOT commence based only on the decisions of a few politically-motivated ideologues.
If the decision to go to war is made, the sacrifice of the soldiers who are asked to go into harm's way should be shared across socio-economic classes (read that as "draft", if you wish) and the cost of such a war should be paid for with treasure earned and not borrowed.
