Hi Ginna! Welcome! You can sign up for Pickleball 101. I believe it is still offered at various locations, Sterling Heights, Seabreeze, Colony and another facility but can't remember which one right off the top of my head. They give you a 2 hour free lesson on proper techniques of the game. There are a few women in St. James who just started. Me...I could never get into a lesson because I always remembered a day late and by then the class was full. Call any of those facilities and I am sure they will tell you the times available.
