My problem is as much as people talk about how hard it is to move away from family, it would be hard for me not to have my dog there.
I know it sound bad but I spend a few days a year with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter and every day of my life with my dog.
I hope that The Villages is more dog friendly than it seems when reading the forum.

Dogs are no problem at all. If you train them to do their business in YOUR yard you'll have no problems. That's what we did. I wouldn't think of allowing either of our two dogs to use a neighbor's yard for their latrine.
