My favorite was the "death trains" that supposedly were checking into Indianapolis without checking out.
What the mental midgets didn't do was ASK anyone about what was going on when they saw passenger trains coming in off-schedule. These were wrecks and other breakdowns going to the MAINTENANCE CENTER IN BEECH GROVE INDIANA - JUST OUTSIDE OF INDIANAPOLIS. Amtrak didn't have money to fix these coaches so they just sat there.
And, back to the main subject, what's wrong with having the ability to take people in after a natural disaster or terrorist attack? What's wrong with BEING PREPARED - after all, isn't that what people were COMPLAINING about after Katrina?
