First off, who gave the order to burn the crappy books? The soldiers were only doing as ordered. I am sure that some Private did not take it upon himself to just go about burning books, even if they are full of lies and tell funny stories about stone women for no reason, and all the women are just property of their husbands and honor killings are just fine.
What a bunch of fine folks we are "protecting."
You have been in the military long enough to know that some officer gave the order and now some Private is gonna take it in the shorts.
Like I always say, It don't matter who has all the gold, what matters is who has all the guns, because pretty soon they will have all the gold and all the guns.
