This is a link to the Washington Post obituary of Thomas Barfoot. He was a Medal of Honor recepient for action during WWII. He was a man of principle who stood up for his rights and for his country. He died in an accident at home at the age of 92.

I had the honor to meet LTC Barfoot one time at a reception at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs along with several other recepients of the Medal of Honor. America has lost one of the greatest of the Generation of the Great.
