........the cows you see around The Villages are NOT Dairy Cows.
They are Beef Cows....for Savory Steaks, Roasts and Burgers.

They LOOK contented because they are GRASS-fed.
Their runinent digestive system was designed to eat grass.

The milk producing DAIRY farms are way down South in Okeechobee County and up North of here, NW of Gainesville in Levy,Gilcrist and Hardy Counties.
The LAST Dairy farm left in Volusia County is owned by Gerald Fieser, which is 70 miles East of here.
