Even though I always have my dog relieve himself on my back yard lawn before our walks, I always allow him to pee on the neighbor's lawns. IMO and based on all of our dogs through our lives, dogs only do what they are allowed to do, except when they are pups and still learning.

I love the smiley at the end of your post. I never did figure out how to teach my dog not to mark his spot all over the neighborhood when we walk. I honestly didn't think it was possible to teach a dog not to do what comes so naturally to them...especially male dogs.
