You wonder why I spelled it this way? Because I wanted my license plate to read Happynow but someone else already had that so I changed it to Happinow. My husband's plate reads Happitoo!

When I started my first job, back in the dark ages, in Appalachia, running a large center, people there did not know what to do with a lady doctor. Neither did my male staff. I told them to call me by my first name. One day, my secretary, who was getting tired of telling people who were calling me that I was a female, she just said "lady doc can take your call now." The name stuck and I have been using it for a very long time.
