Not long ago, I was sitting at a railroad crossing with the gates down and in my sideview mirror I saw a car coming - then I watched in disbelief as the guy zig zagged through the downed gates. If he had stalled or been hit by the train, I was a "sitting duck" because he probably would have been pushed into me. That's how innocent people get killed - stupidity of others sometimes.
