We just had Sears come out today and install a combination filter and softner system. It reduces the chlorine smell and taste and filters the water and softens it at the same time. Kelly was the installer and the whole thing installed was only around $1,000. Too soon to call but I think with all of the reviews I have read that this is the way to go for TV.
