Most of us are from different areas of the country, have had the opportunity (and resources) to have "fine" dining. The Villages is really quite new if you think about it, so it's a 'work in progress'. I really can't say we've had any bad experiences here----but then our expectations haven't been set as high---didn't have the resources for the "fine dining" to measure ALL of this by. If it's served in a timely, hot and relatively tasteful way...then we've been satisfied.

AND in these country club restaurants.......on the right side of the menu, the prices are quite easy on the pocketbook. It is nothing like most country club prices and many are quite decent food for very moderate price. Always love to eat an Glenview, Cane and Mallory and Lopez for special events, because it's pricier as is Palmer.
Havana....is good and bad in turns. They get themselves together for Friday and Saturday night...but sometimes it's great and sometimes not. If you have a great veteran cook in the kitchen and you know how to train servers....and the place is clean...what else is there? I can't figure out why this can't happen.
