Default I can repost what I put on earlier. Should not be any copyright problems (1918 song)

Any takers for writing a poem/song in honor of Donna? It may take me a while to come up with a song on which to model mine. Ritchie Valens "Donna" would not work that well. I just found a good one. Donna used to live up the street from me so I hope this does not look presumptuous.

[Verse]

Donna, now won't you listen while I say
How could you tell me that you're going away
I hope that it is not just yet
Maybe so that we will have met Julia
Don't say that we must part
Don't break your Kathie's and others' hearts
Donna, You know I admired you for these many years
Chatted with you night and day
Oh Donna can't you see my tears
Listen while I say
[Chorus]

After you've gone and left me crying
Not just yet though please stay
We still have more days to play
Donna, after you've gone there's no denying,
Many willl feel blue, we will feel sad,
Many on TOTV will miss the bestest pal we've ever had
There'll come a time, now don't forget it,
There'll come a time, when we'll regret it
Oh! Donna, think what you're doing
After you've gone
After you've gone away, away.
[Verse]

Don't you remember, Donna, how you used to say
You'd always chat with me in the same old way
And now it's very strange
That you should ever change
Perhaps some other site's won your heart
Tempted you away
But let me warn you tho' we're miles apart
We'll regret some day
But please not just yet.
Stay and play another day.
