Biden is something of a gaffe machine, but in fairness has relatively few for someone who has been "on the record" in politics for forty years. His accomplishments would seem to override a few "foot in the mouth" moments, and most everyone, including republicans, agree that he is an expert in foreign relations. Palin, had a relatively brief period in the national spotlight, and her "gaffes" were a little more troubling, as they reflected a lack of fundamental understanding of issues vital to the national interest. I think the comparison of the two falls woefully flat.
